NEPAL REMEMBERED 1975-1978
Nepal Remembered is a visual diary of Luke Golobitsh’s time in Nepal as a member of the Peace Corp. The exhibit shows us the people of Nepal, the culture of it’s people and the everyday activities in its streets. Luke captures the essence of Nepal by connecting with its people not only with his camera, but with his heart.
Golobitsh’s Peace Corps assignment was to work with the Nepal Wildlife Office in their conservation education program. This included photographing the national parks and wildlife. That work remained with the Nepali Wildlife Office. This exhibit of private work shows some of the everyday life in Kathmandu, and other locations, during the years 1975-1978.
